In the G.O.10th read above, Government have issued orders for extending the Medical Reimbursement Scheme under APIMA Rules, 1972 from 01.04.2025 to 31.03.2026 to the employees and pensioners in parallel with Employee Health Scheme, duly following the comprehensive guidelines issued in G.O.Rt.No.345, G.O.Rt.N HM&FW(1.1) Department, Dated: 21.08.2018 and requested the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. NTR Vaidya Seva Trust, AP to put in place all required mechanisms to ensure hassle-free access to Employee Health Scheme for ne for employees and pensioners.
2. The General Secretary, Andhra Pradesh Secretariat Association, the Chairman, AP JAC Amaravati and The President, State Teacher's Union of Andhra Pradesh vide their vide their representations 11th, 12th and 13th read above, have requested for extension of the facility of Medical Re-imbursement Scheme under APIMA Rules, 1972 from 01.04.2026 to 31.03.2027 to the employees and pensioners in parallel with EHS.
3 Government after examination of the matter, hereby extend the medical reimbursement scheme for further a period from 01-04-2026 to 31-03-2027 to the employees and pensioners in parallel with Employee Health Scheme (EHS) duly following the comprehensive guidelines issued in the G.O. 1 read above.
4. The Chief Executive Officer, Dr. NTR Vaidya Seva Trust, Mangalagiri, Guntur, AP, shall take necessary action for effective implementation of the Employee Health Scheme (EHS) and shall adhere to the following instructions:
(i) Review the implementation of the Employee Health Scheme (EHS), particularly in light of the concerns raised by the Employees' Associations regarding the acceptance of EHS Health Cards by the empanelled hospitals, and take appropriate corrective measures.
(ii) Ensure comprehensive stabilization of the EHS by streamlining its implementation and facilitating prompt scrutiny, processing, and settlement of EHS claims.
(iii) Take all necessary measures to progressively reduce the dependence on the Medical Reimbursement Scheme by ensuring timely release of payments under the EHS, with the objective of minimizing the number of Medical Reimbursement claims and making the Scheme minimal or, to the extent possible, Nil by March, 2027.
(iv) Prepare and implement an action plan for complete stabilization of the EHS during the extended period and ensure that the Medical Reimbursement Scheme is discontinued beyond the current financial year after satisfactory stabilization the EHS.
5. This order issues with the concurrence of the Finance (FMU, HM&FW) U.O.No.FIN01-FMU0PC(HMF1)/65/2022-FMU-HMFW Department vide their (Computer No. 1662056)
