The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the 22nd Edition of Central
Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on 06th September, 2026 (Sunday) (Paper- I and Paper-II).
The online application process will start from 11.05.2026. The last date for submitting the
online application is 10.06.2026 (11:59 PM). The test will be conducted in twenty seven
languages in 132 cities all over the country.

ఇక బ్యాంక్ సెలవుల తో పాటు... నెల మారుతుందంటే.. ఎల్పీజీ గ్యాస్ ధరల్లో సవరణలు జరుగుతా యి. ప్రతీ నెలా ఒకటో తేదీన చమురు కంపెనీలు కొత్త గ్యాస్ ధరలను ప్రకటిస్తాయి. గత మూడు నెలలుగా ధరలను పెంచగా.. ఈ సారి గ్యాస్ ధరలు ఎలా ఉంటాయనేది, చర్చనీయాంశంగా మారింది. ఈ సారి కూడా పెంచుతారా? లేదా?స్థిరంగా ఉంచు తారా అనేది హాట్ టాపిక్‌గా మారింది.

జూన్ 1వ తేదీ నుంచి ప్రముఖ ప్రైవేట్ బ్యాంక్ అయిన హెచ్‌డీఎఫ్‌సీ కొన్ని అకౌంట్ల మెయింటైన్ రూల్స్ మార్చుతోంది. అందులో భాగంగా నోట్లు, కాయిన్స్ డిపాజిట్ల మీద చార్జీలు విధించనుంది. నోట్స్ డిపాజిట్‌పై 4 శాతం, కాయిన్ డిపాజిట్లపై 5 శాతం ఛార్జీలు విధించనుంది. అలాగే రూ.20 నోట్లు రూ.10 వేలు దాటకూ డదు. ఇక కాయిన్స్ డిపాజిట్ రూ.5 వేలు దాటకూడదు.

లిమిట్ దాటితే హెచ్‌డీఎఫ్‌సీ బ్యాంక్ 2 శాతం అదనంగా ఛార్జీ విధించనుంది. ఇక జూన్ 1 నుంచి సోలార్ ప్యానెళ్ల నిబంధనల్లో కేంద్రం మార్పులు చేసింది. ఇక నుంచి ప్రభుత్వం ఆమోదించిన సోలార్ ప్యానెళ్లు మాత్రమే వాడాలి. అప్పుడు మాత్రమే ప్రభుత్వ సబ్సిడీ అందుతుంది. దీని వల్ల జూన్ నుంచి సోలార్ ప్యానెళ్ల ధర లు పెరిగే అవకాశ ముందని తెలుస్తోంది.

ఈ తీర్పు ద్వారా సర్వీసులో ఉన్న ఉపాధ్యాయులు గమనించాల్సిన అత్యంత కీలకమైన విషయాలు ఈ క్రింది విధంగా ఉన్నాయి:

*TET అర్హత తప్పనిసరి (TET is Mandatory):*

 విద్యా హక్కు చట్టం (RTE Act, 2009) ప్రకారం, సర్వీసులో ఉన్న ఉపాధ్యాయులు ఉద్యోగంలో కొనసాగాలన్నా మరియు భవిష్యత్తులో ప్రమోషన్లు పొందాలన్నా తప్పనిసరిగా టీచర్ ఎలిజిబిలిటీ టెస్ట్ (TET) లో ఉత్తీర్ణత సాధించాలి.

*గడువు పెంపు (Extension of Deadline):*

 గతంలో ఇచ్చిన తీర్పులో TET సాధించడానికి 2 సంవత్సరాల గడువు (31 ఆగస్టు 2027 వరకు) ఇవ్వబడింది. అయితే ఉపాధ్యాయుల పరిస్థితిని, ఆచరణాత్మక ఇబ్బందులను పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకున్న సుప్రీంకోర్టు, తన విశేషాధికారం (ఆర్టికల్ 142) ఉపయోగించి ఈ గడువును 3 సంవత్సరాలకు పెంచింది.

*కొత్త గడువు తేదీ (New Deadline Date):* ఇన్-సర్వీస్ ఉపాధ్యాయులు 31 ఆగస్టు 2028 లోపు తప్పనిసరిగా TET అర్హతను సాధించాలి.  

పాత నియామకాలకు మినహాయింపు లేదు (No Retrospective Exemption):

* RTE చట్టం రాకముందు నియమితులైన తమకు ఈ నిబంధన వర్తించదని ఉపాధ్యాయులు చేసిన వాదనను కోర్టు తోసిపుచ్చింది. సెక్షన్ 23(2) లోని నిబంధనల ప్రకారం, చట్టం అమలులోకి వచ్చే సమయానికి అప్పటికే విధుల్లో ఉన్న ఉపాధ్యాయులు కూడా నిర్ణీత గడువులోగా అర్హతలు సాధించాలన్నదే చట్టం యొక్క ఉద్దేశ్యమని కోర్టు స్పష్టం చేసింది.  

*రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాలకు ఆదేశాలు (Directions to States):

 ఉపాధ్యాయులకు తగిన అవకాశాలు కల్పించేందుకు వీలుగా, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాలు మరియు సంబంధిత అధికారులు ప్రతి సంవత్సరం కనీసం రెండు సార్లు (ఆరు నెలల వ్యవధితో) క్రమం తప్పకుండా TET పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించాలని కోర్టు ఆదేశించింది.  

ఇదే చివరి అవకాశం (No Further Extensions): గడువు పెంపు కోసం భవిష్యత్తులో ఎటువంటి అభ్యర్థనలను అంగీకరించబోమని సుప్రీంకోర్టు చాలా స్పష్టంగా తేల్చిచెప్పింది. కాబట్టి ఉపాధ్యాయులు ఈ అవకాశాన్ని తప్పక వినియోగించుకోవాలి.  

*కోర్టు వారి ముఖ్యమైన పరిశీలనలు (Court's Key Observations)*

పిల్లల విద్యా హక్కుకు పెద్దపీట:

 కోర్టు ఉపాధ్యాయుల పట్ల సానుభూతి వ్యక్తం చేసినప్పటికీ, ఆర్టికల్ 21A ప్రకారం పిల్లలకు నాణ్యమైన విద్యను అందించడం రాజ్యాంగపరమైన ఆవశ్యకత అని పునరుద్ఘాటించింది. RTE అనేది పిల్లల కేంద్రీకృత చట్టం అని, ఉపాధ్యాయుల ఉద్యోగాల కోసం భవిష్యత్తు తరాల పిల్లల విద్యా ప్రయోజనాలను పణంగా పెట్టలేమని న్యాయస్థానం స్పష్టం చేసింది.  

ఉప-చట్టాలు మాతృక చట్టాన్ని అధిగమించలేవు:

NCTE జారీ చేసిన 2010 నాటి నోటిఫికేషన్ ద్వారా తమకు మినహాయింపు ఉందని ఉపాధ్యాయులు చేసిన వాదనకు బదులిస్తూ, ఉప-చట్టాలు (Subordinate legislation) ఎప్పుడూ కూడా పార్లమెంటు చేసిన ప్రధాన చట్టాన్ని (Parent statute) అధిగమించలేవని కోర్టు స్పష్టం చేసింది.  

రివ్యూ పరిధి పరిమితం:

ఒకసారి ఇచ్చిన తీర్పును కేవలం అసంతృప్తి కారణంగా మళ్ళీ విచారించలేమని (Review is not an appeal in disguise), రికార్డులో స్పష్టమైన తప్పు ఉంటేనే రివ్యూ చేస్తామని కోర్టు స్పష్టం చేస్తూ ప్రధాన రివ్యూ పిటిషన్లను కొట్టివేసింది.  

ముగింపు:

 సారాంశంలో, RTE చట్టం కంటే ముందు ఉద్యోగంలో చేరిన వారైనా సరే, 31 ఆగస్టు 2028 లోపు TET ఉత్తీర్ణత సాధించడం ఇప్పుడు న్యాయపరంగా తప్పనిసరి. ఈ గడువును ఇక పొడిగించే అవకాశం లేనందున, ఉపాధ్యాయులు రాబోయే TET పరీక్షలకు సన్నద్ధం కావడం ఒక్కటే వాస్తవిక పరిష్కారం.

ORDER:

All the RJDSEs, District Educational Officers & Ex-Officio Project Coordinators and Additional Project Coordinators, Samagra Shiksha in the State are invited to the references cited.

Government of India, Ministry of Education, Department of School Education & Literacy (DoSE&L) has launched the “School Management Committee (SMC) Guidelines-2026” on 06.05.2026. The Guidelines have been framed in alignment with the provisions of National Education Policy (NEP)-2020, Right to

Education (RTE) Act, 2009, Samagra Shiksha and earlier guidelines issued under SSA and RMSA.

The Ministry of Education has informed that the SMC Guidelines-2026 supersede all earlier guidelines/instructions issued on School Management Committees and requested all States/UTs to disseminate the Guidelines among all stakeholders for effective implementation in schools from the current academic year onwards.

Further, the Guidelines have been made available in all official languages for wider accessibility and better understanding at the grassroots level.

Therefore, all the District Educational Officers & Ex-Officio Project Coordinators and Additional Project Coordinators in the State are hereby instructed to circulate the SMC Guidelines-2026 to all field functionaries, school heads and stakeholders concerned.

All the DEOs and APCs shall treat this matter as important and ensure strict compliance.

In view of the above, the SMC Guidelines-2026 are herewith communicated to all the RJDSEs, DEOs and APCs in the State. They are directed to disseminate the same to all the DyEOs, MEOs, Principals and Headmasters concerned and take necessary action for effective implementation of the Guidelines.

Further, all the RJDSEs in the State are requested to coordinate with the DEOs and APCs under their jurisdiction for effective implementation of the objectives envisaged in the SMC Guidelines-2026.

➡️ సహచరుల నామినేషన్ (Peer Nomination)

Eligibility

The award is open to all the faculty members of colleges universities higher educational institutions (Category - I) / polytechnics (Category - II) in India, satisfying the following conditions:

i) The Nominee should be a regular faculty member.

ii) Should have at least five years of full-time teaching experience in the Undergraduate and/or Post-graduate level.

iii) Should NOT be above 55 years of age as on the last date of receiving application for the awards.

iv) Vice-Chancellor/ Director / Principal (regular or officiating) are NOT* eligible to apply.

 

*However, individuals who have held such positions earlier, but are below 55 years of age and still in active service are eligible.

*అర్హతలు:*

✔️ భారతదేశంలోని కాలేజీలు, విశ్వవిద్యాలయాలు, ఉన్నత విద్యాసంస్థలు, పాలిటెక్నిక్‌లలో రెగ్యులర్ అధ్యాపకులై ఉండాలి

✔️ కనీసం 5 సంవత్సరాల పూర్తి కాల బోధన అనుభవం ఉండాలి

✔️ దరఖాస్తు చివరి తేదీ నాటికి వయస్సు 55 సంవత్సరాలు మించరాదు 

No. of Awardees

A total of Thirty five Awards (25 in Category-I and 10 in Category-II) shall be conferred every year. 

Who can nominate ?

1) Self - Nominations (Singular basis).

2) Former or existing Vice-Chancellor/ Director/ Principal/ Faculty member/ Colleague of the same university/ institute/ college/ Polytechnic, where the nominee holds regular employment.

3) Members of Search-cum-Screening Committees may also take suo-moto cognizance of an outstanding faculty member and may nominate exemplary teachers.

4) Award Jury are NOT eligible to make any nominations for this award.

Selection Process

Selection Procedure for NAT-2026 will follow two-step process.

1) Preliminary Search cum Screening Committee for initial shortlisting of candidates

2) Committee of ‘Jury’ for final section of awardees from the shortlisted candidates
