భారత ప్రభుత్వ విద్యాశాఖ, ఉన్నత విద్యా విభాగం ఆధ్వర్యంలో ఉన్నత విద్యాసంస్థలు మరియు పాలిటెక్నిక్‌లలో సేవలందిస్తున్న అధ్యాపకుల కోసం National Awards to Teachers 2026 కు నామినేషన్లు ఆహ్వానించబడుతున్నాయి.

బోధన-అభ్యాసం, పరిశోధన, నవీనత, విద్యార్థుల మార్గదర్శకత్వం, సంస్థాభివృద్ధి మరియు సామాజిక సేవల్లో విశిష్ట కృషి చేసిన అధ్యాపకులను ఈ అవార్డుల ద్వారా సత్కరించనున్నారు.

నామినేషన్ విధానాలు (Janbhagidari ఆధారంగా)

➡️ స్వీయ నామినేషన్ (Self-Nomination)

➡️ సంస్థ తరఫున నామినేషన్ (Institutional Nomination)

➡️ సహచరుల నామినేషన్ (Peer Nomination)

Eligibility

The award is open to all the faculty members of colleges universities higher educational institutions (Category - I) / polytechnics (Category - II) in India, satisfying the following conditions:

i) The Nominee should be a regular faculty member.

ii) Should have at least five years of full-time teaching experience in the Undergraduate and/or Post-graduate level.

iii) Should NOT be above 55 years of age as on the last date of receiving application for the awards.

iv) Vice-Chancellor/ Director / Principal (regular or officiating) are NOT* eligible to apply.

 

*However, individuals who have held such positions earlier, but are below 55 years of age and still in active service are eligible.

*అర్హతలు:*

✔️ భారతదేశంలోని కాలేజీలు, విశ్వవిద్యాలయాలు, ఉన్నత విద్యాసంస్థలు, పాలిటెక్నిక్‌లలో రెగ్యులర్ అధ్యాపకులై ఉండాలి

✔️ కనీసం 5 సంవత్సరాల పూర్తి కాల బోధన అనుభవం ఉండాలి

✔️ దరఖాస్తు చివరి తేదీ నాటికి వయస్సు 55 సంవత్సరాలు మించరాదు 

No. of Awardees

A total of Thirty five Awards (25 in Category-I and 10 in Category-II) shall be conferred every year. 

Who can nominate ?

1) Self - Nominations (Singular basis).

2) Former or existing Vice-Chancellor/ Director/ Principal/ Faculty member/ Colleague of the same university/ institute/ college/ Polytechnic, where the nominee holds regular employment.

3) Members of Search-cum-Screening Committees may also take suo-moto cognizance of an outstanding faculty member and may nominate exemplary teachers.

4) Award Jury are NOT eligible to make any nominations for this award.

Selection Process

Selection Procedure for NAT-2026 will follow two-step process.

1) Preliminary Search cum Screening Committee for initial shortlisting of candidates

2) Committee of ‘Jury’ for final section of awardees from the shortlisted candidates
