School Education Department Vidya Sakthi Programme - Implementation of Academic Action Plan for the Academic Year 2026-27 in Z.P., Government, Muncipal, APREIS, KGBVs and AP Model Schools - Orders - Issued.

1.Memorandum of Understanding between IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation and Government of Andhra Pradesh dated 15.11.2024.

ORDER:

The Government of Andhra Pradesh, in collaboration with IIT Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation, has been implementing the "Vidya Sakthi Programme to strengthen learning outcomes through technology-enabled remedial education for Classes 6 to 9 in English, Mathematics and Science. In view of the successful implementation during the Academic Year 2025-26 and the suggestions received in the review meeting held on 06.07.2026, it has been decided to continue the programme with strengthened online delivery and monitoring arrangements during the Academic Year 2026-27.

2. The programme shall be implemented in all identified 4720 Ζ.Ρ., Government, Municipal, APREIS, KGBV and AP Model Schools through a structured online instructional model, enabling uniform academic support across the State.


Objectives:

Improve learning outcomes in English, Mathematics and Science.

Support students in difficult topics through revision-oriented teaching and remedial reinforcement.

Provide additional academic assistance to students requiring remedial support and first-generation learners.

Strengthen digital classroom practices through interactive teaching, quizzes, simulations and audio-visual resources.

Ensure continuous assessment, feedback and monitoring at school, district and state levels.

Implementation Framework:

1. The SCERT shall prepare structured academic planners, revision modules, lesson summaries, model questions and competency-based support material in alignment with the academic calendar.

2. The headmasters of all identified schools shall incorporate the Vidya Sakthi schedule into the regular timetable, ensure student participation and conduct fortnightly academic reviews.

3. Subject teachers shall facilitate the online sessions, support classroom linkage activities and monitor student progress on a regular basis.

4. The District Educational Officers shall monitor implementation, review school-wise performance and submit monthly reports to the Director of School Education.

5. The Regional Joint Directors shall conduct monthly district-level monitoring and ensure compliance with programme instructions.

6. The IT Cell shall ensure uninterrupted internet connectivity, functioning of Interactive Flat Panels, audio systems and related digital infrastructure.

7. The District IT Coordinators shall attend to technical issues on priority and coordinate with schools for smooth conduct of online sessions.

Mode of Delivery:

The Vidya Sakthi live classes shall be transmitted online from IIT Madras through the Zoho platform, with support for interactive teaching, digital content delivery and online participation by students and teachers. igital

The delivery model may also integrate suitable digital learning tools such as simulations, animations and virtual demonstrations to improve conceptual understanding.

Assessment and Monitoring:

Baseline assessment at the beginning of the academic year.

Periodic fortnightly assessments.

Monthly competency review and learning analysis.

Continuous monitoring through school, district and state-level review mechanisms.

General Instructions:

1. All the identified schools shall ensure effective implementation of the programme without deviation by duly adjusting the School Timetable tentatively from 15th July 2026.

2. Technical and connectivity issues shall be resolved immediately in coordination with the District IT Cell/Samagra MIS/State IT Cell.

3. Schools shall submit periodic implementation reports as prescribed by the Director of School Education.

4. Any additional instructions issued by SCERT or the Director of School Education shall be followed scrupulously.

3 Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers, District School Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators in the State in the State are requested to make necessary arrangements for the effective implementation of the Vidya Sakthi Programme in the identified 4,720 schools.

Receipt of these proceedings shall be acknowledged.
