The attention of the Regional Joint Directors, District educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators in the state are invited to the references read above and they have informed that the Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) is the most critical and essential stage in a child's learning journey, as it forms the basis for all future learning outcomes. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and NIPUN Bharat Mission emphasize that every child should attain foundational literacy and numeracy skills by the end of Grade 3. In this regard, strengthening classroom transaction, activity-based pedagogy, child-centered learning practices, competency-based assessments, and effective remedial support at the primary level has become a priority of the School Education Department.


The primary school teacher plays a pivotal role in ensuring that children develop reading comprehension, writing abilities, basic mathematical understanding, and conceptual clarity during the foundational years. Therefore, it is essential to continuously build the capacities of teachers through structured academic support and intensive training programmes so that they are equipped with appropriate pedagogical strategies, classroom practices, learning assessment techniques, and innovative teaching methodologies aligned with FLN goals.

In order to ensure effective implementation of FLN interventions across the State and to strengthen the academic support system at all levels, the Department has decided to conduct intensive residential training programmes for identified District Resource Persons (DRPs), who will further train the ground level teachers handling class 1-2 teachers in the cascade mode to be conducted at Divisional Level /Constituency Level in the State.



The DRP Training was initially scheduled to be conducted from 28.05.2026 to 01.06.2026 for a period of five days. However, in view of the declaration of Bakrid Holiday on 28.05.2026, the training programme has been rescheduled and now be conducted from 29.05.2026 onwards. Accordingly, the revised schedule shall be followed for the conduct of the training programme.


Accordingly, the following residential training programmes for DRPs are scheduled to be conducted from 29.05.2026 to 02.06.2026 for 5 days at Regional Level in 12 venues across the state in residential mode.

The list of identified DRPs for the above training programme is attached in Annexure-1.


The Ground Level Training for 40,000 Secondary Grade Teacı..handling Grades 1 & 2 should be conducted in the venues at Government High Schools located at Divisional Level/Constituency Level across the State from 04.06.2026 to 09.06.2026 for a period of 6 days in non-residential mode. The training shall be conducted simultaneously in multiple venues within each district to accommodate all identified SGTs in a single spell. During the training period, the vendors shall provide breakfast, morning snacks, lunch, and evening snacks to all the participants as per the approved norms.

All the Regional Joint Directors of School Education, District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators in the State are hereby instructed to act on the following immediately.

1. Relieve the identified KRPs well in advance to enable them to attend the training programme on the scheduled dates.

2. Ensure that the deputed participants attend the entire duration of the training without interruption.

3. Instruct the participants to report at the venue on the evening prior to commencement of the training or as per the reporting instructions communicated by the organizers.

4. Ensure that no academic or administrative duties are assigned to the identified participants during the training period.

5. Extend necessary coordination and support for smooth conduct of the training programme.

6. Ensure strict compliance with the training schedule and maintain proper communication with the State and District teams.

7. Instruct the participants to actively participate in all academic sessions, practical demonstrations, group activities and assessments during the training.

The District Educational Officers and Additional Project Coordinators shall closely monitor the participation of the DRPs from their respective districts and ensure 100% attendance during the training period.

Any deviation in relieving the participants or delay will be viewed seriously, as the programme is of utmost academic importance for strengthening FLN implementation across the State.

RANKING: Candidates will be ranked in each methodology in the order of merit on the basis of marks obtained in APEdCET-2026 examination. Where there is a tie in total marks Part-C marks will be taken into account to decide relative ranking.

 In case of further tie, the marks obtained in Part-A will be taken into account to decide relative ranking. In case of candidates getting equal marks in each of the parts of the test, they shall be bracketed for the purpose of award of rank. 

At the time of admission into the course, age shall be taken into consideration for relative ranking among the bracketed candidates and the older candidates shall be given priority. 

The rank obtained in APEdCET-2026 is valid for entry into B.Ed. programme and B.Ed. Special Education for the academic year 2026-27 only.

 
QUALIFYING MARKS:

 
The qualifying marks in the Entrance Test for all candidates (except SC/ST) are 37 out of 150 total marks (i.e., 25%). For the candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, there will be no qualifying marks for ranking. There will be no minimum qualifying marks for women in Physical Sciences / Mathematics methodologies

డూప్లికేట్ సర్టిఫికెట్ దరఖాస్తుతో పాటు ఈ క్రింది పత్రాలను తప్పనిసరిగా సమర్పించాలి.

1. పూర్తి చేసిన దరఖాస్తు ఫారం:

వెబ్సైట్ నుండి డౌన్లోడ్ చేసిన ఫారంలో వివరాలు నింపి, విద్యార్థి, హెడ్ మాస్టర్ (HM) సంతకాలు ఉండాలి.

2. CFMS సిటిజన్ చలానా: రూ. 250/- రుసుమును CFMS వెబ్సైట్ "ESE03 Government Ex-aminations Department" కింద చెల్లించిన చలానా. ఈ చలానా ప్రింట్ తీసుకోవాలి.

3. నోటరీ అఫిడవిట్ (Affidavit): రూ. 50/- స్టాంప్ పేపర్ పై నోటరీ లేదా జూనియర్ సివిల్ జడ్జి అటెస్టేషన్ చేయించిన అఫిడవిట్.

4. పోలీస్ సర్టిఫికెట్: ఒరిజినల్ సర్టిఫికెట్

పోయిందని, అది దొరకలేదని సబ్-ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ (SI) లేదా అంతకంటే పై స్థాయి అధికారి ఇచ్చిన ధృవీకరణ పత్రం.

గమనిక:


అగ్ని ప్రమాదాలు జరిగి విద్యార్థి సర్టిఫికెట్ పోగొట్టుకుని ఉంటే సంబంధిత అధికారుల Fire Certificate ఉంటుంది. ఈ సందర్భంలో సబ్-ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ లేదా అంతకంటే పై స్థాయి అధికారి వద్ద cer-tificate తీసుకోవలసిన అవసరం లేదు.

భారీ వర్షాలు, వరదలు & ఇతర ప్రకృతి విపత్తుల వలన విద్యార్థి సర్టిఫికేట్ పోగొట్టుకుని ఉంటే MRO వద్ద Certificate తీసుకోవలసి ఉంటుంది. ఈ సందర్భంలో సబ్-ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ (SI) లేదా అంతకంటే పై స్థాయి అధికారి వద్ద certificate తీసుకోవలసిన అవసరం లేదు.

5. HM కవరింగ్ లెటర్: మీరు చదివిన పాఠశాల హెడ్ మాస్టర్ నుండి అధికారిక లేఖ.

ఈ లేఖపై తప్పనిసరిగా Sign with School Stamp ఉండవలెను.

6. SSC జిరాక్స్ కాపీ: మీ పాత ఒరిజినల్ SSC సర్టిఫికెట్ జిరాక్స్ కాపీ అందుబాటులో ఉంటే దానిని జతచేయండి.

ఇలా సిద్ధం చేసుకున్న అన్నిపత్రాలను మీ పాఠశాల హెడ్ మాస్టర్ ద్వారా అమరావతిలోని ప్రభుత్వ పరీక్షల డైరెక్టరేట్ (DGE) కార్యాలయానికి పంపాలి.

SSC Advanced Supplementary Examinations, May 2026, the 3rd Language Exam Subject - English Examination (Paper Code 13E & 14E) shall now be conducted on 5th JUNE 2026 (Friday)

The Government of Andhra Pradesh, vide G.O. Rt. No. 1006, General Administration (POLL.B) Department, Dated: 21-05-2026 has declared 28th May 2026 (Thursday) as a public  holiday on account of Eid-ul-Adha (Bakrid).

In view of the said declaration of public holiday, and in order to ensure that no inconvenience is caused to the students appearing for the SSC Advanced Supplementary Examinations, May 2026, the 3rd Language Subject - English Examination (Paper Code 13E & 14E) scheduled on 28th May 2026 stands postponed and the said examination i.e., 3rd Language Subject - English Examination (Paper Code 13E & 14E) shall now be conducted on 5th JUNE 2026 (Friday) from 09:30 AM to 12:45 PM. 

All students, parents, and stakeholders are hereby informed to take note of the above  change. 

The Regional Joint Directors of School Education (RJDSEs) and District Educational Officers (DEOs) are instructed to give wide publicity to the revised schedule and to ensure that the information is effectively communicated to all DyEOs, MEOs, Headmasters, all the appointed examination staff (CS/ DOs, Invigilators etc.) and all the students appearing for the ongoing  SSC Advanced Supplementary Examinations, May 2026. 

Further, all District Educational Officers (DEOs) shall make necessary logistical arrangements in their respective districts for the smooth and orderly conduct of the rescheduled  examination on 5th June 2026, including readiness of examination centres, deployment of personnel, and other necessary logistical arrangements.

All the District Educational Officers & Ex-officio P.C., SS and Additional Project Coordinators, SS except East Godavari, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema,West Godavari, Krishna and Guntur in the State are informed that in the ref. 1st cited, Government has accorded permission for filling up of vacant teaching posts

in all 352 KGBVs on contract basis for the academic year 2026 -27 with view to provide quality education to girl students studying in the KGBVs to make them as 21st century global citizens.



In this connection a paper notification has been issued from state office on 27-04-2026 for calling Online applications through http://kgbvrecruitment.apcfss.in from the eligible woman candidates for filling up of 299 vacant posts of teaching staff in all the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalas (KGBVs) located across the State of AP purely on contract basis for the academic year 2026-27.

Therefore, all the District Educational Officer & Ex-Officio Project Coordinator, SS, and Additional Project Coordinator, SS are requested to take appropriate action as per the timelines prescribed above duly briefing the recruitment process to the District Collector and Chairman District selection committee, Samagara Shiksha of respective districts and complete the recruitment process strictly adhering to the notification issued vide in ref.2nd cited (Copy enclosed) without any deviation in connection with the rosters, vacancies, local status etc. Also ensure that all the recruited candidates should be placed in schools by 20.06.2026 without fail. Selection Process:The Recruitment shall be through a selection process consisting of Merit basis and other criteria stipulated by the Government from time to time.All the selections will be made as the newly formed districts as a unit.The details of the posts are as follows.Total Notified Vacancies:

Application Fee and Processing Charges Eligible and Interested candidates c a n apply duly paying Rs.300/-through the gateway of Commissioner of school education department, AP towards application fee and processing charges.

Age Limit:The candidate should have completed 18 years of age and should not cross 45 years of age as on 01-07-2025. However, in case of SC/ST/BC/EWS candidates the maximum age limit shall be 50 years and in case of differently abled candidates the maximum age limit shall be 52 years. For Ex-service women the maximum age limit is 45 years.



4. TET Qualification:The candidates must pass Teacher Eligibility Test.

• The candidates should be qualified in the AP Teacher Eligibility Test –APTET for the posts of Principals, CRTs (all subjects), PGTs (Only general subjects).

• TET qualification is not required for the posts of Physical Education Teacher and PGTs (Vocational subjects).

5. Educational Qualifications:

I. Principal:Must possess any Post-Graduate Degree from UGC recognized University with minimum 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ST/Differently abled persons.AndMust possess B.Ed.,/M.A education from NCTE/UGC recognized Universities with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ST/Differently abled persons.

II. Post Graduate Teachers:Professional Qualifications: Must possess B.Ed qualification from the universities recognized by NCTE (or) equivalent degree with Methodology in the concerned subject from UGC recognized University with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ST/ Differently abled persons.

Academic Qualifications:Must possess two–year Post Graduate Course from the Regional Institute of Education of NCERT or Master’s Degree from UGC recognized university with minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs;40% for SC/ST/Differently abled persons in the relevant subjects as specified as under:

1. PGT(English) -Post graduation in English

2. PGT (History) – M.A in History

3. PGT (Civics)- Post graduation in Political Science/Public Administration.

4. PGT(Commerce)- Post graduation in Commerce with Accountancy/Cost Accounting/Financial Accountancy as a main subject/ Master of Financial Analysis provided having B.Com in Graduation level.

Note: Post Graduates of M.Com in Applied/ Business Economics arenot eligible for the post of PGT-Commerce.

5. PGT (Economics)- M.A., in Economics/ Applied Economics/Business Economics/Rural Development/ Mathematical Economics/Econometrics.

6. PGT (Maths)- M.A.,/ M.Sc., in Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics/ Statistics/ Applied Statistics/ M.Sc., with Pure Mathematics/ M.Sc., Maths & Computer Science/ Advanced Operational Maths and must study mathematics as a subject at graduation level.

PGT (Pre-School Teacher Training) (PSTT): Must possess M.Sc (Home Science) with specialization in child psychology and Human Development and Family Studies in recognized university affiliated to UGC .(or)Must possess B.Sc (Home Science) with P.G diploma in Child Development in recognized university affiliated to UGC .(or)Must possess B.Sc (Home Science) with P.G diploma in Early Child Education in recognized university affiliated to UGC .(or)

Must possess M.A Child Care and Education in recognized university affiliated to UGC.(or)Must possess M.Sc (Psychology) can be considered provided they have done school psychology/ child psychology as one of the subjects in PG.

14. PGT (Medical Lab Technician) (MLT):Must possess MBBS/BHMA/BAMS/B. pharmacy in recognized university affiliated to UGC(or)Must possess M.Sc (Micro Biology)/ M.Sc (Bio-Chemistry) or an equivalent Qualification in recognized university affiliated to UGC.

15. PGT (Multi-Purpose Health Worker) (MPHW):Must possess B.Sc (Nursing) of 4 years duration in recognized university affiliated to UGC .

16. PGT (General Foundation Course) (GFC):

i. MA Rural Development with not less than 50% of marks with 2nd class from recognized university.

ii. If candidates with above qualifications are not available MA Economics with Agricultural Economics and MA with applied Economics may be preferred with not less than 50% of marks with 2nd class from recognized university.

iii. If candidate with above qualifications is not available, candidates with MA Economics may be considered with not less than 50% of marks with 2nd class from recognized university.

III. Contract Residential Teachers (CRT):



Academic and Professional Qualifications:

Must possess four year integrated degree course from the Regional Institute of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks in aggregate or Second Class Bachelor’s Degree from the UGC recognized University with minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs, 45% for BCs, 40% for SC/ST and differently abled persons in the concerned subject(s) in aggregate including electives and Languages in the combination of subjects specified.AndMust possess B.Ed qualification from the universities recognized by NCTE (or) equivalent degree with methodology in the concerned subject with minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs, 45% for BCs,40% for SC/ST and Differently abled persons in the concerned subject(s) and in case of CRT-Telugu and Hindi, Pandit Training from a recognized institution as specified under.

1. Contract Residential Teacher (Telugu):

A Bachelor’s Degree with Telugu as the main subject (or) one of the three equal optional subjects / Bachelor’s Degree in Oriental Language in Telugu (B.O.L) (or) its Equivalent /a post Graduate Degree in Telugu with minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ ST/ Differently abled persons.

2. Contract Residential Teacher (Hindi):A Bachelor's degree with Hindi as one of the full elective subject/ Bachelor's Degree in Oriental Language in Hindi (B.O.L) / Praveena of Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha / Vidwan of Hindi Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad/ any other equivalent recognized qualification in Hindi (BA degree Standard)/ Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ST/Differently abled persons.AndMust possess any one of the following training qualifications.

Contract Residential Teacher (English)–A Bachelor’s Degree with English as the main subject (or) one of the optional subjects/ a Post Graduate Degree in English with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ ST/ Differently abled persons.AndB.Ed., with English as a methodology subject with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ST and Differently abled persons.

4. Contract Residential Teacher (Mathematics) –A Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics/ Statistics as the main subject (or) one of the three equal optional Subjects with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ST and Differently abled persons.AndB.Ed with Mathematics as methodology subject with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ST and Differently abled persons.

5. Contract Residential Teacher (Physical Science)– A Bachelor’s Degree with at least two of the following subjects as optional subjects or one as the main subject and other as subsidiary/ ancillary subjects Physics / Applied Physics / Engineering Physics & Instrumentation and Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Medicinal Chemistry / Bio- Chemistry /Geology/ either Physics or its allied subjects/ Chemistry or its allied subjects with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ST and Differently abled persons.AndB.Ed with Physical Science/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Science as a methodology subject and should have studied Physics and Chemistry at Intermediate level with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ST and Differently abled persons.



6. Contract Residential Teacher (Biological Science)–A Bachelor’s Degree with Botany and Zoology as optional subjects or one of the two as main and the other as subsidiary subject with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ST/Differently abled persons.OrA Bachelor’s Degree with any two of the following subjects as optional subjects or one as the main subject and other as subsidiary/ ancillary subject:Public Health / Human Genetics / Genetics / Bio-Chemistry / Environment Science / Micro-Biology /Bio-Technology/ Industrial Micro- biology/ Agriculture/ Food Technology/ Fisheries/ Nutrition/ Geology/ Sericulture/ Horticulture/ Forestry/ Poultry with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ST and Differently abled persons.

And

B.Ed Degree with Biological Science/ Natural Sciences/ Science/ Botany/ Zoology as a methodology subject with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ST and Differently abled persons.Note: Regarding academic qualifications, a Candidate who studied one subject at Degree level and the second subject at Post Graduation level is also eligible to apply.

7. Contract Residential Teacher (Social Studies):A Bachelor’s Degree with any two of the following subjects as optional subjects (or) one of them as a main and any other one as a subsidiary subject with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ST/Differently abled persons.:History / Economics / Geography / Political Science / Public Administration/ Sociology / Social Anthropology / Ancient Indian History Culture & Archaeology / Anthropology/ Social Work/ Philosophy/ Psychology.ORB.Com. with any four of the following subjects:Commerce / Economics or Business Economics / Business Organization and Management/Statistics or Business Statistics or Quantitative Techniques/ Financial Services or Banking and Insurance /Accountancy or Financial Accounting/ Fundamental s of information Technology/Computers with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ST/Differently abled persons.AndB.Ed. Degree with Social Studies / Social Sciences / Geography / History / Politics / Political Science/ Economics as a methodologysubject with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs; 45% for BCs; 40% for SC/ST/Differently abled persons.

8. Physical Education Teacher (PET) QUALIFICATIONS 

Must possess Intermediate course from the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (or) Equivalent course recognized by Board of Intermediate Education, Govt.of A.P., with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs,45% for BCs, 40% for SC/ST.

Bachelors Degree from UGC recognized University with at least 50% of marks in aggregate with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs, 45% for BCs and EWS,40% for SC/ST And Must Possess Undergraduate Diploma in Physical Education (U.G.D. P.Ed) recognized by NCTE or B.P.Ed/ M.P.Ed recognized by NCTE with at least 50% of marks in aggregate for OCs, 45% for BCs and EWS,40% for SC/ST

Note: Differently abled persons are not eligible for the post of PET.e. Medium of Instruction:English is the medium of instruction in all KGBVs. However, the candidates who pursued their studies in both English, Telugu Medium are also eligible to apply as per their educational qualifications to the posts concerned.

Note: The candidate should study English as one of the subject up to graduation level6. 



Selection Procedure: All selections shall be made purely on merit basis duly awarding certain weightage marks for the academic performance of the candidates in both academic and professional qualifications.The merit in both academic and professional qualifications for the posts of Principal, CRT, PGT and PET shall be calculated for 100 marks as detailed below.


Calculation of weightage / Merit

a) If a candidate secured 450 marks out of 600 in SSC Exams, then the weightage shall be calculated as 450/600 x 20= 15 marks

b) As well as the secured marks in Intermediate is 755, out of 1000, then the weightage shall be calculated as 755/1000 x 10 = 7.55

c) For degree, if the secured marks is 825, out of 1000, then the weightage shall be calculated as 825/1000 x 20 = 16.5

d) For PG, if the secured mark is 800, out of 1000, then the weightage shall be calculated as 800/1000 x 30 = 24.00

e) For B.Ed. if the secured mark is 875, out of 1000, then the weightage shall be calculated as 875/1000 x 20 = 17.5

Note: If any Board/ College/ University has issued their degree’s in grade point system/ CGPA then the grades of the individual shall be converted into percentage as explained here under:Formula – Achieved CGPA X 9.5

f) For example, if a candidate achieved 9.0 CGPA points in her SSC/Intermediate / Degree / PG then her percentage is 9.00 x 9.5=85.5%.

g) In this case the total secured marks achieved by the individual in a 100% scale is 85.05.

Preparation of Merit List:

For the purpose of deciding the merit / rank of candidates with equal marks, the following procedure shall be followed in that order:i) Date of Birth: The elder candidate will be given higher rank over a younger candidate.ii) If two or more female candidates have same date of birth, then candidates belonging to the following communities (in that order) shall be given a higher rank:

1. ST

2. SC (Group-I, II & III)

3. BC (A)

4. BC (B)

5. BC (C)

6. BC (D)

7. BC (E) and

8. OC
