GOVERNMENT OF ANDHRA PRADESH ABSTRACT Finance Department - Employees Health Scheme (EHS) - Direct credit of monthly subscription amount of employee’s/pensioner’s contribution and Government contribution to the designated Bank Account of the Dr. NTR Vaidya Seva Trust -Timely availability of funds and settlement of EHS claims – Orders – Issued.

Read the following:-
1. G.O.Rt.No.83, HM &FW(I.1) Department, dated 25.02.2016.
2. G.O.MS.No.64, Finance (HR-VI) Department, dated 18.04.2016.
3. Letter No. GAD01-SW0CSJS(CJSC)/1/2021-SW, dated 03.09.2026.

In the reference 1st read above, Government enhanced the monthly subscription under EHS and revised the sharing ratio between the Employees/Pensioners and the Government from 60:40 to 50:50.
2. In the G.O. 2nd read above, operational guidelines were issued for the effective and streamlined management and implementation of the Employees Health Scheme (EHS).
3. The employee’s/pensioner’s contributions and the corresponding Government contribution under the EHS are presently accounted and adjusted by the Director of Treasuries and Accounts, Andhra Pradesh, under the following Heads of Account:
(a) Employee’s contribution – 50%:
HoA: 8342-00-120-01-02-001-001VN – EHS Nodal Officer, DTA.
(b) Pensioner’s contribution – 50%:
HoA:8342-00-120-01-02-001-002VN – EHS Nodal Officer, DTA.
(c) Total Government's contribution – 50%:
HoA: 8342-00-120-11-02-001-003VN – EHS Nodal Officer, DTA.
4. With reference to the third reference cited, a meeting was held on 05.09.2026 under the chairmanship of the Hon’ble Chief Minister with representatives of the recognised service associations. During the meeting, the associations requested prompt remittance of the employee and Government contributions to the Trust for the smooth implementation of the EHS scheme.
5. Government, after careful examination, hereby directs the Director of Treasuries and Accounts to credit the employee/pensioner contributions recovered from regular salaries and pensions, together with the corresponding Government contribution, to the designated bank account of the Dr. NTR Vaidya Seva Trust on the 1st of every month, concurrent with the disbursement of salaries and pensions for that month.
6. The Director of Treasuries and Accounts, Andhra Pradesh, shall coordinate with the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. NTR Vaidya Seva Trust, to ensure strict implementation of above orders. The above arrangements shall come in to force with effect from 1st October, 2026.
