ORDER

The Government of Andhra Pradesh is observing the 80th Independence Day with the theme "Partners in Nation Building", with the objective of encouraging citizens, particularly students and youth, to envision their role in the development of the State and the Nation.

As part of the campaign, it is decided to conduct "Ane Nenu" programme in all Government, Aided and Private Management Schools across the State during the period from 10th to 15th August, 2026.

The programme envisages providing an opportunity to students to express, in their own words, what they intend to become and how they propose to contribute to the State and the Nation. The campaign guidelines specifically provide that the pledges of students should not be uniform, and students should be encouraged to think independently and articulate their own vision and contribution.

In view of the above, all the District Educational Officers, Regional Joint Directors School Education and Additional Project Coordinators S.S are hereby instructed to ensure effective, meaningful and visible implementation of the "Ane Nenu" programme in every school under their jurisdiction, irrespective of management.

The following instructions shall be followed:

1. State-wide implementation: The DEOs shall ensure that the "Ane Nenu" programme is conducted in all Government, Aided and Private Schools in the district during 10th-15th August, 2026,

2. Special session in schools: A special session/class shall be organized in every school as part of the Independence Day activities. The Headmaster/Headmistress shall explain the objective of the "Partners in Nation Building" campaign and motivate students to participate actively.

3. Student's own vision: Every student shall be encouraged to state:

° what he/she aspires to become;

° what goal he/she wishes to pursue; and

°how he/she proposes to contribute to the development of the State and the Nation.

The responses shall be original and individual. Students shall not be compelled to repeat a common or prescribed pledge.

4. Age-appropriate participation: The activity shall be conducted in an age-appropriate manner, ensuring participation of students from different classes. Younger children may express their aspirations and contribution in simple sentences, while senior students may articulate specific goals and commitments.

5. Role of Headmasters and teachers: Headmasters and teachers shall facilitate the activity and motivate maximum participation. They shall ensure that the programme remains inspirational, participatory and student-centric.

6. Documentation: Schools shall maintain suitable documentation of the activity through photographs, short videos and a brief report. The documentation shall clearly indicate the name of the school, mandal, district and date of the activity.

7. Social media participation: Wherever appropriate, schools may share selected photographs/videos of the programme through official institutional/social media platforms, following the campaign communication guidelines and using the prescribed campaign hashtags:
