AP POLYCET 2026 FIRST PHASE WEB COUNSELLING Seat Allotment Released
1.Issue of Notification The Convenor -POLYCET issues a notification every year, during first week of May/June, in all prominent news papers indicating the date wise ranks of the candidates who have to attend for Online Certificates Verification & Fee Payment and Schedule for Exercising options and Convenor POLYCET will also notify the list of Help-line Centres. Candidates who fail to report for Online Certificates Verification & Fee Payment will not be considered for allotment of seats in any of the polytechnics.

- Commencement of Online certificate verification& fee payment. 24.06.2026 02.07.2026.
- Certificates Verification at notified Help Line centres (HLCs) whose certificates are not verified online or need any change/update 25.06.2026 to 03.07.2026
- Dates of Option entry ::29.06.2026. To 04.07.2026
- Date of changing of options :: 05.07.2026
- Date of release of seat allotments. :: 07.07.2026
- Self joining by Online & Reporting at college 08.07.2026. To 11.07.2026
- Commencement of class work :: 08.07.2026
2. Online Certificates Verification & Fee
Payment: Candidates should keep the following certificates for Online Certificates Verification & Fee Payment:
a) POLYCET Hall ticket
b) POLYCET Rank Card
c) Candidate Aadhaar Card
d) SSC or Equivalent marks memo
e) Study/Bonafide Certificate (IV to X)
f) Caste Certificate of SC/ST/BC/Minorities (if applicable)
g) Income certificate Issued on or after 01.01.2023 for claiming tuition fee reimbursement
h) PWD/NCC/CAP/Sports and Games/Scouts and Guides Certificates (if applicable)
i) Econimically Weaker Section(EWS) Certificate (validity year 2026-2027 only for OC Candidates if applicable)
j) Transfer Certificate.
k) Residence Certificate in case of Non Local Candidate.
3. Exercising Options: After Certificate
Verification, a Blank Option Form (speciman), List of Polytechnics with the courses offered by them and course codes will be placed in https://polycet.ap.gov.in. Based on the Course Codes and polytechnic Codes, Candidates may list out polytechnics in order of preference, the courses which they intend to give options for. For the reference of the candidates, the last rank up to which candidates were admitted in different polytechnics/courses in the previous academic year would be made availble to candidates on the website. The candidate should first prepare a priority number with a list of courses in the blank option form before he/she attempts to enter the options on the website. Candidates can exercise any number of options. After finalising the options, he/she is advised to take print out of the final option form for his/her record.
4. Final Allotments of Seats: Based on the options excercised, seat allotment will be made as per merit rank and category (SC/ST/BC/PWD/NCC/CAP/Sports and games quota etc) of the candidate. The final Allotments will be placed on the website on the scheduled date announced, the Candidates will have to download the allotment order from the website. The details of allotments will be also be sent to the registered mobile number of the candidate.
5. Reporting & Payment of Fees at Polytechnic: Candidates, with downloaded allotment order, have to report through Self-reporting system which is done online and report at the allotted college also. These two stages are mandatory and mere reporting through self-reporting or reporting at the polytechnic alone is not sufficient to retain a seat.
If Candidate fails to report through self-reporting or reporting at the allotted polytechnic by the dates stipulated, the allotment stands cancelled and candidate will have no claim for further allotment of seats.
