ORDER:
Government have issued orders from time to time for continuation of the Contract persons working in the Departments/HoDs.
2. Government have issued orders vide GO 2nd read above, for continuation of the contractual services with effect from 1st April, 2025 to 31st March, 2026 at the State and Districts respectively. The period permitted earlier will expire by 31.03.2026.
3. In view of the above and after careful examination, the Government hereby order for further continuation of the Contract persons working in the Departments/HoDs till 31.03.2027 or an earlier period if such posts are filled with regular employees or the need for the post ceases, whichever is earlier.
4. The continuation is applicable to the posts filled up on contract basis against the regular posts that exist as on 31-03-2026 with the prior concurrence of Government in Finance Department. These continuation orders are also applicable to those contract employees engaged against the contract posts sanctioned. These orders shall not applicable to Scheme based contract posts.
5. All the Secretaries of Secretariat Departments, HoDs and District Collectors are hereby informed that no services shall be contracted without the prior concurrence of the Government in Finance Department.
